All colleagues are required to be aged 21 or over, physically fit, of smart appearance and able to speak fluent English.

Sales Assistant

Sales Assistants play a big part in ensuring our shops meet sales targets, not least by providing our customers with an outstanding level of customer service – which means identifying their needs and responding to them quickly.

This role involves:

  • Putting the customer first, providing great customer service.
  • Lots of initiative and a helpful, flexible approach.
  • Working on tills accurately and efficiently, to provide a positive customer service experience.
  • Maintaining the visual merchandising standards of the store.
  • Making the shop space your own and taking pride in your working environment.

A retail background in Harding Retail’s core product categories is preferred but not essential.

Jewellery Sales Specialist

Harding Retail offers Jewellery Professionals a unique career at sea. As a Jewellery Sales Specialist you must possess excellent customer services skills and a passion for selling high value luxury products. Brands include H Stern, Chopard and Roberto Coin.

This role involves:

  • An intensive training course at our Central Support Office.
  • Using initiative when presenting and selling merchandise to close sales.
  • Developing strong product knowledge and a passion for selling luxury products.
  • Excellent customer service and interaction.
  • Supporting the visual merchandising standards of the store.
  • Running and delivering promotional events and seminars.

Retail experience with fine jewellery products is essential.

Watch Sales Specialist

As a Watch Sales Specialist you will maximise sales by promoting a range of designer watches whilst delivering excellent customer service. Brands include Raymond Weil, Tag Heuer and Gucci.

This role involves:

  • An intensive training course at our Central Support Office.
  • Using initiative when presenting and selling merchandise to close sales.
  • Developing strong product knowledge and a passion for selling luxury products.
  • Excellent customer service and interaction.
  • Supporting the visual merchandising standards of the store.
  • Running and delivering promotional events and seminars.

Fragrance/Cosmetic Consultant

As a Fragrance/ Cosmetic Consultant you will need strong communication skills and a passion for your work as you will be selling a wide variety of brands of fragrance, cosmetics and skincare for both women and men from Clinique to La Prairie. Customer communication skills, together with a high standard of personal grooming are imperative as well as retail experience within a fragrance house or cosmetics company.

This role involves:

  • Taking part in all promotional events from in store makeovers and skin consultations to fragrance seminars held in the theatre.
  • Taking initiative when presenting and selling merchandise.
  • Supporting the visual merchandising standards of the store.
  • Developing strong product knowledge.

Management Team

Similar to high street retailers, managers oversee the sales merchandise, operations and personnel within the shops.

This can mean managing shops of different sizes – from a small single shop, to a larger 8500 sq. foot shop with a team of 30+ colleagues.

This role involves:

  • Displaying all merchandise based on presentation guidelines and implement visual directives.
  • Overall responsibility for stock inventory and intake of new deliveries.
  • Training, counselling and motivating a team to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Planning and marketing promotional events, inventories and all administrative functions.
  • Problem solving, decision-making and building relationships.

To apply for this role you must have previous experience of working at sea in a retail management position.

It’s not just managers we seek for, but Trainee managers as well – people who are confident in leading a team and with the potential to move into management (Retail supervisory experience is required).
